Introduced in July of 1998, the Enterprise 250 is a deskside server that uses one or two 250-, 300- or 400-MHz UltraSPARC[tm]-II CPUs, up to 2 GB RAM, and up to six 18-GB 3.5 x 1.6 in., 36-GB 3.5 x 1.0 in., 10000 rpm, hot-pluggable Ultra SCSI-3 drives.
The Enterprise 250 was EOL’d (end-of-lifed) in August of 2003, and replaced by the Sun Fire V250 server .
