System Overview
The Sun Netra 240 server is the carrier grade, NEBS Level 3 certified version of the popular Sun Fire V240.
It is a dual-processor-capable, rack-optimized server designed for high availability in a compact 2U package.
Reliable and rugged, the Netra 240 meets the deployment needs for telecommunications, service provider, defense, military, and network infrastructures.
The Netra 240 features up to two UltraSPARC IIIi processors, 8 GB of memory, and two disks.
It also comes with four Gigabit Ethernet ports, three PCI slots, two redundant power supplies, a system configuration card, and advanced remote management.
