Sun Fire V240 Server System Overview The Sun Fire V240 server is a dual-processor-capable, rack-optimized server designed for high availability. The Sun Fire V240 features up to two UltraSPARC IIIi processors, 8 GB of memory, and four disks. It also comes with four Gigabit Ethernet ports, three PCI slots, two redundant power supplies, a system configuration card, advanced remote management, and an optional SSL card, all in a 2U package that sets the standard for rack-ready servers.
