The V250 server is a feature-rich server that offers up to 8 GB of DDR memory, up to eight hot-swappable, 73-GB UltraSCSI hard drives, six 64-bit PCI slots, four USB ports, Advanced Lights Out Manager (ALOM) software, and a System Configuration Card.
The Sun Fire V250 server was EOL'd (end-of-lifed) in September 2005 and replaced by the Sun Fire V240.
