Sun | StorEdge 3310 SCSI Array
Introduced in October of 2002 as the replacement for the StorEdge A1000, the Sun StorEdge 3310 SCSI array is a low-profile, high-density, modular storage system. The space-efficient 12-drive array supports hundreds of gigabytes of storage, one or two RAID controllers, 128 LUNs, and multiple host connections. The design allows the addition of capacity in single-drive increments, or with low-cost expansion units. The system's single or dual RAID controllers and Web interface enable quick capacity expansion, allowing for the addition of hundreds of drives and thousands of LUNs. The 3310 array is designed to withstand some of the harshest environments, and is ruggedized to meet full NEBS Level 3 certification, and the air, land, and marine deployment of the MIL-STD-810F specification.
The StorEdge 3310 array was EOL’d (end-of-lifed) in January, 2006, and was replaced by the StorEdge 3320.
