Sun Blade 2500 Workstation System Overview The Sun Blade 2500 workstation uses the 1.28 or 1.6-GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processor and offers high-performance 64-bit computing. The Sun Blade 2500 workstation is equipped with a rich set of workstation features, including support for 16 GB of DDR memory, up to two internal 146 Gb Ultra 3 SCSI hard drives, five PCI slots, and support for high-performance graphics such as the Sun XVR-100, Sun XVR-600, Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerators. The Sun Blade 2500 workstation also offers built-in USB 1.1, USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394a FireWire ports and on-board Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T).
