Used Sun hardware sells for less than new Sun hardware.
You’ll find that the used equipment we sell is very, very
good—so good, in fact, that our customers often tell us
they can’t tell the difference between our used systems
and brand new ones. We clean and test our systems thoroughly
when we receive them. All incoming systems go through a
minimum 24-hour burn-in and extensive testing with the current
operating system; custom configured systems go through a second
24-hour burn-in prior to shipment. We also have a comprehensive
grading system for monitors, including tests for optical clarity,
focus, color balance, and brightness.
We offer full warranties on everything we sell, ranging from 6 months
to a year or more on end-user sales. Should you need warranty service, our
efficient RMA (return material authorization) process gets
replacement parts to you quickly—usually before you return your
defective part to us.
